Little bit of background here.............The last truck I bought brand new was back in 2009, I picked up a Z71 Silverado LT and daily drove it until August of 2019. I was working a temporary assignment in Orange, Tx at the time and my youngest son needed a truck so I passed the Z71 on to him and I picked up a 2009 Tacoma with 85k miles for $14k. My Texas assignment ended this past December and for the past few weeks, I've been keeping an eye on the used truck market and last week I made up my mind not to put it off so started looking more seriously. I don't need 4x4 and I was really wanting something nice, all/most the bells'n whistles, low mileage........something that the girlfriend & I can travel in with the girls and so on. Looking out 100 miles from my zip code, I was finding lots of really nice Sierras and put together a short list of trucks to go look at. I ended up with a 2015 Sierra SLT Texas Edition in Iridium Metallic over black leather, polished snow flake wheels, 5.3 w/6 speed and 53k on the odometer.
I love itThe infotainment system is a little dated but works properly and syncs with my Pixel 5 with no issues, it has the parking sensors, lane keep assist & collision warning system. I would've liked to have another sunroof (my Z71 does) but it does have the power, sliding rear window. There is something on/in the pain running down the passenger side below the rocker panel that I'm going to have to get removed so the dealership took $1k off our final price. Other than that, it's just about as perfect as you can get for a 6 year old truck.
Took this at the dealership Friday evening, this is the paint issue on the passenger side
