It looks pretty decent. Needs a few things to finish off the look like the correct steering wheel, the middle spoiler stanchions should be the same blue as the stripes, needs the badges in the tail panel and I'm not sure that the blue they used back there is the correct color.

It definitely doesn't look like just a basic Firebird. It has the hood, fender scoops and spoiler like a real Trans Am does.
If it's rust free, $18,500 seems like a decent deal. Especially if you don't have to spend a bunch of money on it. I guess it depends on how stout that engine really is and what the trans and rear are. Things worth checking into are whether the hood and spoiler are aftermarket or if they're real GM. It's a 1969, the wiring isn't that hard to figure out.
I rewire busses and trains on a daily basis, so no big deal

Judging from the pics $18,500 is a very good buy for that car. I’ve seen much much worse go for more. Unless it just bad lighting, the tail panel appears to be the wrong shade of blue. Not hard to fix. It should be Tyrol blue iirc. Odd thing is the stripes appear to be the correct shade
Btw if you have any leads I’m looking for a ‘70-‘72 TA. Preferably a 4 speed car. How’s your ‘70 coming along? Is it done? It’s been years since I’ve seen a picture of it.

all stuff you can easily buy from the aftermarket and slap it on. I just wouldn't look at it unless I had a pontiac engine/trans/rear laying around waiting for a home and got it for $10k. Just my opinion

What's crazy is how well documented she is
Got a big 3 ring binder with all info dating back to the build sheet, original bill of sale, protecto-plate, warranty paperwork and receipts for everything all the way up to the original owner's obituary
Recently appraised at $80k, but she's not for sale (at least not for now)
As for parts, I'm looking for an original 12-Bolt as mine walked out of my shop years ago, but I'll most likely just upgrade to a Moser or Strange

I've got a TH400 out of a 68 GTO sitting in the garage that needs to be gone through if you are interested. Also an auto out of a 98-02 Camaro, and an R200 out of an 86 Monte SS. I might part with those too.
