Here’s some more production leaks of the US market 400z. It’s also been leaked the 400z will have 444 horsepower and a NISMO version with 475 horsepower.

That front end is still worse than a bag of dicks.
475 in a car that size would be fun... but if I were looking for a performance car, I'd still opt for something else.
Yep. I was thinking the same thing. Not sure who would buy this car. It's a boy racer for kids that can't afford it. I could also see a single woman in her 40's+ buying it, but that's about it. Anyone else even remotely interested in performance is going to buy something w/ a little more balls.
This looks better than the new designed Supra.
Dig this actually, can I get a LSX swap in one please![]()
If I can actually spec one out the way I'd like it for at or under $40k, I'm going to strongly consider one. I have a huge fondness for the early Z cars and the VR30-whatever it is now is a great starting point for the engine.
The reality is that there will be nothing on dealer lots except $50k optioned cars with a $10k "market adjustment" on top and I don't care enough to actually order one and wait on it.
The person who provided the US spec production leaks provided the following info.

It’s looking like $50k for the NISMO 475hp version but since all trims come with the VR30DDTT, you don’t necessarily need the NISMO trim to go faster unless you do not plan to mod. The Z is priced very competitively if it is indeed released with a base MSRP of $34,995. Adding the performance package still keeps you a hair under $40k. With 444 horsepower and weight around 3250lb, good chance it will be just as fast as a Mustang GT and Camaro SS.

I like the back and the interior a lot. I just can't get over the front end. I really wanted to like this car. I had 2 300ZXs(87,88) when I was in my late teens and I always loved the 90s Z cars.
Yea, under $40k and that will certainly be a lot more inviting for a much wider range of customer.![]()
Hey Chevy. That's a nice blue interior you stuffed in the C8. Would be a shame is someone....borrowed it.
That looks straight up like someone just purchased some seat covers and spray paint from Pep Boys.
I like the overall car.
And it does look better than a Supra.
But doesn't matter as at 6'4" I ain't fitting in either.....
It would be hard for me to choose this over a Camaro SS over a Mustang GT because I love the sound of a V8, but if not for those as competitors I would seriously consider this if I were in the market.
