There's just nothing exciting about these hyper mega super duper cars anymore. They all look like generic cars from a video game.

Why do the British drink warm beer?

    Because they have Lucas refrigerators.

Insane that 2k hp is gonna become the norm. Gonna be interesting how the electric supercars differentiate themselves.

iIRC the $200k Tesla Roadster 2.0 has 7k ft lb/tq and a range of 610 miles. Nucking futs!

That's because when you're an electrical engineering expert in England, you become a comedian/actor instead.

Is that the one that's going to have the multiple gas thrusters too?

I'm a big fan of EVs and like a lot of what Tesla has done, but Musk has a tendency to get ahead of himself with the hyperbole. Honestly, he probably should have been criminally charged with regard to some of the Autopilot/FSD claims he's made in the past.

Someone was being shady and listing drive train output torque I bet. 700 lb/ft is realistic and final drive is probably around 10:1

    LOL @ counting gear multiplication.

I guess my Boss has over 5300 lb-ft after multiply by 1st gear and rear ratios.

I would personally count the peak torque from dropping the clutch off the limiter.

    Lets see... 85 bronco. 238lb/ft * 6.38 1st * 2.74 Low Range * 3.55 final = 14,769 lb/ft.

Oh fuck, forgot about my 78 CJ7.

    193 lb-ft, 6:32 1st, 2.03 low range, 4.10 rear = 10,152 lb-ft.

Blows away both the Tesla and my Boss.
