Oh looks good in white too.
Where are the goddamn pictures?![]()
Making me do my own fucking work in here

c8 is going to be mean on the track.
Ah drop the mic with that pricing.
Even with the insane dealer markup these will see it'll still be a bargain.
I missed the part on pricing. How much?
Starting at under $60k. 0-60 in under 3s.
Pretty awesome. I love the looks. Torn on the interior.

Just under $60k, 495 hp LT2, 0-60 in sub-3 seconds. Damn that's a bargain!!! I love it!!

That's the link to build one for yourself. It seems to be down right now, presumably from too much traffic.
I'm liking it so far...........not too crazy about the wheels but everything else, I like. Jay Leno as a few pics up on his IG

Under 60 grand? Geezer that even puts it in my realm of possibility. I won't have one because I could knock 3 cars off my want list for that, but it makes me wonder...
Dont care for the looks but holy shit what a price point!![]()
Can't wait to see the ZO6!
I haven't made up my mind on the overall look yet. I like it at certain angles and some angles I don't. However that might be because I need time for the new direction to sink in. I feel some of it looks generic but that might change with the release of the Z06. However this look will attract the not so normal GM buyer. They did good on this.
I was ready to pull the trigger on an m6 Grand coupe but now I gotta wait around and see this in person.

Very impressed at the price. Can't wait to check it out in person
a lot of car for the price. It does look like something costing 3 times the price.
Looks great but cant get past that interior layout
I'm not on the Corvette forums, but I'd imagine news of the C8 hasn't set well w/ the C7 owners. Probably some "This isn't a true Corvette... C7 will be the last true Corvette" posts.
I wonder how the mid-arrangement changes anything as far as people wrenching on their own cars, or will these have to be taken to the dealer for most maintenance due to access of things?
Like the exterior look, not as much on the interior, but the performance seems to be awesome for the money. That said, no way would I buy a GM car in a first year of a redesign. You'll be the guinea pig to work out the problems.
The taillights were just a part of it. The C7 was a pretty radical departure from the C4/5/6 evolution that lasted 30 years. And the C8 is an even bigger departure in that direction. I like the way it looks, but the "made from a Ferrari parts bin" comment someone made earlier isn't wrong.
CTMorgan...what color did you order?
I really like the look of the C8. The price point is very reasonable. When it gets the “clutch by wire” manual transmission that GM is developing in a year or two, I’ll definitely give the car strong consideration.

I told folks that there was no way that this car would be over $70k msrp. Can't believe it's coming in at less than $60k though. That's nuts. I bet we sell a ton of them.
That interior iswas hoping the spy shots would be wrong.

I think it’s a home run. Besides the weird ass button tree, the exterior looks and performance should make up for that. Only people I saw hating on it were C7 owners.
This is not something old school guys want ... But GM is a business and they want to grown their market share. This Vette will attract a lot more buyers who look at a comparable German competitor.
And after watching a bunch of videos the part that bothered me as far as looks has disappeared.

Agreed (that's twice in a day... WTH is this world coming to). I like mechanical things and would prefer a drive by cable. Seems simpler and less to go wrong, even though I know drive by wire has been fine for years now. I just didn't see anything all that great about going to it VS using a cable, except for "latest technology".
Side note: Has nothing to do w/ this thread, but dealing w/ drive by wire. The new Jeep is a drive by wire... my first drive by wire. One thing I noticed about it was the lack of pedal movement when the cruise is on and going up a hill. My TJ's pedal would have been to the floor and I'd know it in my foot that it was putting out a good bit of effort. The new Jeep, the pedal doesn't move when the cruise is set. I like the foot feedback of a drive by cable.

Best fiero ever.![]()
wonder how the build quality is...fit and finish? cheap interior plastic parts?
can you store the targa top inside the rear area?
So if I'm reading the rumors correctly....................
Next up is the Z06 version with a twin turbo 4.2 DOHC motor making 700+ hp.
To be followed with a ZR1 version that's a hybrid with both the TT motor and an electric, making over 1000 hp combined, and with AWD.
JFC.
im considering keeping my truck until 2035 and never being able to afford another sports car![]()
That’s what bugs me about the interior so much. You know that tablet is just a cheap piece of plastic sitting on the dash so they’re showing off a POS display. My mom recently got a loaded out Lincoln Navigator and it’s the same way. Those tablets look like garbage sitting off the dash like that. I really want to like it. I’m digging the exterior and I could possibly be in for a z06 but I just don’t know about that interior.
Either still rocking the JLU (with some more mods), Raptor or Rebel TRX (Hellcat, if that ever happens, https://www.motor1.com/news/356828/r...trx-spy-shots/ ) and maybe a widebody Hellcat Charger. If the Angel becomes real then![]()
