I ran one of those the other day. Apparently you need more than a stock Mustang GT to take one out of the hole.

    x2.

Come back in 6 months when you've traded it for a new "blows balls" blue.

I went there planning to buy a Plum Crazy Daytona mainly because it had the Harmon Kardon 19 speaker stereo. that car "couldn't be found", but salesman returned with this thing instead....it was not on their website. I cussed him for showing it to me and promptly signed up. I know it's a love/hate thing. I love it, and I don't give a fuck about those who don't.

lol, agreed, but, the dynomax bullets just add the right amount of tone that really ties the whole package together. You'll be downshifting more just to hear the crack and burble.

and WTF was Dodge thinking by making the first shifter EVER to upshift/downshift in the wrong direction????? This old dog can't grasp the concept after doing it the other way for 35 years.

There's one of those bright reddish orange mango ones on a car lot I see occasionally. You damn sure can't miss that car.

Brotip: just leave it in drive. It bangs full throttle upshifts at redline. All you're doing with the manual controls is making the car slower.

The bullets just complete the package, it's not that they're that much louder it's that they sound so much better it also pops on downshifts

It's a fantastic transmission. My first automatic in like 10 years and I'm still not bored, the downshifts are pretty amazing.

Go drive them all, I wasn't even interested in a Challenger but figured I'd drive them all and see what I liked better. The Jeep is cool but it's totally boring. The Charger is hands down a better car than the Challenger but at the end of the day I took the Challenger home. You just can't beat the looks of it.

You actually ran a vehicle out of the hole with your GT? A WRX would make me sweat out of the hole. At freeway speeds though...

I thought the best method was to launch in manual mode/1st gear and immediately shift into drive?

He caught me at a red light at the appropriate spot. We had taken a day trip into Mexico anyway it was a beautiful car, it was that metallic charcoal gray color with black wheels. It looked like the owner had lowered it just a tad and it did not sound like a stock exhaust, but I haven't owned or driven a late model charger so

It had the 392 badging though. I definitely wouldn't have beat him to a 1/4 mile line.

Allegedly my 13 GT with the 3.73 rear gear with a M6 ran high 12s in various testing. I haven't tracked it and I doubt I have the skill to wring that time out of the car. I am probably a low 13 second driver with that car. I might be worse than that. I want to get it to a track soon and see what I can do.

Stock Mopar exhaust is loud at full throttle. It probably was stock exhaust. My stock ass challenger is louder than my fox 5.0 with flows on it.

This is the correct orientation. Pull back like a 1-2 shift.

Literally every single race car in history with a sequential shifter is oriented like that. Always pull back to upshift

I had this one couple weeks ago as a rental and I agree, easily the loudest stock exhaust I’ve ever heard.

This one in my Trans Am was the best shifter ever.

And this Dodge is the first automatic I have EVER driven where you don't push forward for an upshift.

Most of the drag race stuff with the manual valve bodies are all push to up shift but everything else is back to upshift.
