Jeep should have made this one.

Back in HS my best bud had a Scrambler, we had a blast in that thing. I know they are making a 4 door, but that's 2 more.doors than I need.

Like regular pickups, 2 doors would be like 1.7% of total sales. So, they said it's not worth the dev and manufacturing setup time.

I like them, I think they are over priced but I know they will hold their value like all of the Wranglers.

Makes them not actually overpriced because total cost of ownership is low. If you pay $50k for a vehicle, drive it for 4 years, then sell it for $44k, it was actually a pretty economical vehicle to own.

There is a funeral home nearby that has been there forever. I know the family and children very well. For as long as I can remember, they’ve had a Scrambler parked on their lot, with a plow on it. If it has 15,000 miles on it I’d be surprised. They used to bring it into the shop to get inspected and the oil changed once a year and all they ever did with it was plow the grounds. And it’s just rotting away

I wish they were an available aftermarket wheel. This is all I could find in a quick search regarding them...

Prototype 17-inch beadlock wheels with a "deep dish" design are set off from the Metallic Brilliant Blue exterior with a Brass Monkey finish, encircled by a silver beadlock ring. A production Jeep Performance Parts two-inch lift kit works with aggressive 37-inch tires to add extra trail clearance.

The problem for this public school teacher is paying that 50k car note for 4 years.

Given your weird fetish for a vehicle with no passenger space and your desired budget, why haven't got just got a zero option rcsb 5.0 yet? Pretty much a no brainier for your stated desires... And I can't even say it's uncool. A stripper rcsb 5.0 f150 probably runs a low 13 stock

Because it is basically my Mustang in truck form. So my situation is I don't absolutely need a truck. I just miss how useful they are and I still have a truck if I absolutely need one, I just let my kid drive if. So do I give up the Mustang that I love and buy a base XL and have the added utility, but then have to start nodding it to get it to the power levels of the Stang or just heep the GT and mod it more. My biggest factor is actually my 68 Camaro. I have looked around here local and I haven't found a body guy that I feel I can trust. However my cousin is someone I trust. He owned an auto, paint, and body shop in Georgia. He does the mechanical stuff and his brother does body and paint. They produce high quality work, not SEMA Riddler award winner, but better than factory original. Anyway he told me before to bring my car to him and he would restore it. I am going to reach out to him and if he is serious I will get serious about getting a truck to take that thing to him.

Looks great but totally useless for a family man.

Little kids fit in the back of a fbody or mustang just fine. Bad comparison.

It appears to be a double standard. Motorcycle, 2-door sports car, etc are all fine... but a 2-door truck? oh hell no. There's no point in anyone making/selling a 2-door truck. God forbid a dude with a family just prefers that as his own personal vehicle.

I've put a child seat in the back of an Fbody... It does not fit in there "just fine". It's a PITA. Good exaggeration.

It’s wild how that looks just as modern as the current 4 door Wrangker.

Yea, 3 years later we get the JKU.

Still would have liked to see Jeep come out with this as a modern day fullsize bronco fighter..

Protip: from age 6 or so on, kids don't need child seats, yet a 6 year old is much smaller than an adult. In case you haven't ever seen a 6 year old or something.

cant trust a 6 year old not to kick the shit out of the back of a mustang or camaro.

That much is true. I'm constantly telling my 7 year old to stop putting her feet on the seat or console.

I found it was actually easier to get child seat in and out of my old WS6 than it was in my Tahoe...

Vaporizer and sublingual drops... Oh yeah I forgot the Tahoe is lifted 4.5 inches... So there's that. But seriously, maybe it was the seat I had for my kid.
