    2005 GTO cam questions

    Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and new to LS cars in general.

My question, Is a solid roller cam a roller or solid? I'm sure that sounds like a stupid question, but I'm just going by what he sent me.

The car was modified before i took possession.

    Cam motion solid roller camshaft

    Morel lifters
    Fast 102 lsxr intake manifold

It has solid roller lifters, as in not hydraulic as the stock LS engines have. That would require adjustable rockers to lash the valves properly vs a non-adjustable valve train on a hydraulic lifter.

    OK, it makes sense now.
the lifters are solid, as in they don't adjust themselves. but are still roller.
