The Legendary Syclone Is (Sort of) Back as a 455-HP Supercharged GMC Canyon

Back in 1991, before crossovers ruled the road and the Toyota Camry made 300 hp, GMC did something truly crazy. It put a turbocharged six-cylinder in a two-door Sonoma, added a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system, and created one of the quickest trucks ever sold to the public. It was called the Syclone, and now it’s back. […]

Love the way it looks and the idea. As far as the engine goes, I’d rather see the 455hp LT1 under the hood, or the twin turbo V6 that’s from the ATS-V. Pair that up with all wheel drive, built by GM, priced at ~50-60k and it’d be a winner.

^ This, for that price either give me the truck 6.2 or the LT1. Not a blown V6.

Well, truck buyers aren't always the most rational. I keep wondering who the fuck buys $80K diesels to haul a 10,000lb trailer a couple times a year.

Good thing I am not in the business of selling anything. Just a guy that like trucks like that one.

If you pay 80k for a diesel you didn't try. Buddy just got a well optioned Ram 1 ton with the HO Cumins and the Asin trans for less than 60K. I do know it's harder to find a Super Duty diesel for cheap, at least around here. Ford is damn proud of that truck I guess.

That shit will be the end of country music. They don't seem to know if they are rappers, pop artists, or a country singer.
