50 CONSUMERS, 50 STATES, AND 50 TRIPS TO THE DAYTONA 500 . . . Chevrolet Racing has recently launched a Web-based promotion entitled "Chevy's Great American Race Experience," offering 50 consumers from 50 states the opportunity to win one of 50 trips to the Daytona 500. This sweepstakes has been developed to promote the 50th anniversary of the Chevy Impala as well as the 50th running of the Daytona 500. Consumers can go to http://www.chevy.com/thedaytona500 to enter to win. A winner from each state will be selected to attend along with a guest.

Winners receive a unique race experience that only Chevy can offer, including tickets to the Craftsman Truck race, the Nationwide Series (formerly the Busch Series) race, and, of course, the Daytona 500. The winners will also take a lap around the famed speedway, get a “behind the scenes” garage tour, and have the opportunity to meet Team Chevy drivers. The Web site incorporates a "Racing toward Gas Free" section on the “Thank You” page that displays Chevrolets from "yesterday, today and tomorrow," along with Chevy’s fuel solutions messaging. The sweepstake ends Dec. 3, 2007, and is being supported at the track; with online Web banners, television and radio advertising; via e-mail blasts; and by Chevy's race team and racetrack partners.
