Here's the table that some of the guys were working with at LS1tuning/LS1tech that represents what FTC you are in compared to your MAP and RPM for those that want finite tuning control by cell .......... May even be worthwhile keeping in our Methods & Procedures forum




starting from the top left going right,

first row, cell 0 - 1 - 2 - 3

second row, cell 4 - 5- 6- 7

third row, cell 8 - 9 - 10 - 11

fourth row, cell 12 - 13 - 14 - 15

So, as you can see all cells, 0-15, are represented.

Cells # 3, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 22 are PE cells. Note that PE cells are Higher RPM and Higher MAP (kPa). They can be either open loop or closed loop depending on "closed loop enable temp" and throttle position percent- WOT/Cold table ( Both can be viewed in LS1Edit). Normal operating temps and low throttle percent they are closed loop. Mash down on the throttle about 65% and it goes open loop and into PE ( Power Enrichment).

Additionally, we have these cells:


cell 16 - Closed Loop- idle - park AC on
cell 17 - Closed Loop- idle - park AC off
cell 18 - Closed Loop- idle - in gear AC on
cell 19 - Closed Loop- idle - in gear AC off
cell 20 - Open Loop- idle
cell 21 - Open Loop- Deceleration
cell 22 - Open Loop- High load / WOT
cell 23 - Unknown

Normally (Operating with functional O2 Sensors)... Hot Idle = Closed Loop
.....Cold Idle = Open Loop

If a car is run fulltime Open Loop (No O2 Sensors) then it will function in cells 20, 21 and 22. Full-time Open Loop fueling is thru Cell 22, VE Table and the F/A Multiplier Table ( Called the Stoich Table by NoGo) at cruising speeds/TP%. Mashing on the throttle pushes it into PE Mode (PE Tables) and this determines the final fueling/AFR.
