No, he's actually very helpful with maintenance, driving, and any other good info he's come up with. He's actually made videos showing his launches and breaks them down saying what he did well and not so well.

I think its going to be hard to beat a zo6 even if it makes more power. This is all being done on stock tires so there is only so much power you can apply.
Thow some slick and im sure the diff between the zr1 and zo6 will be quite a bit.

$106,880 - $74,285 = $50,000?
And there's plenty more that comes with the ZR1 over the Z06 that justifies the price besides the extra power.

These aren't drag cars either guys They just happen to also be able to launch fairly well, relatively speaking.

I think the 600HP Viper would keep up quite well.
Both cars are badass but I don't think the ZR1 is faster than 600HP Viper. Sounds about even stock for stock.

the weight difference is only like 175ish
if a good driven z06 in decent weather could do 125-126,the zr1's weight is not that much more and it has 130 more hp

Still pretty good... here's a good vid of a Z06 Ligenfelter running against my Kleemann S7 ...he spins a bit so his ET sucks ass, (he was mid 10's all day) and that was with MT DR's ... best of the day i think was 128mph
Driver? http://videos.streetfire.net/video/C...-vs_642692.htm
(mind you i had Michelin Pilot Street Tires on the Benz)

I think when we look back, 2 years or so from now.
When it all shakes out, you are going to see ZR-1s going mid 10s on DRs.

guys i was at MIR that track day, in fact i shot the vids.
the 10.85 was on street tires by someone that has like 30 passes in the car, Ranger was NOT driving that pass.
ranger did drive the car later and ran back to back to back 10.73s on drs keep in mind, ranger does not know this car as well as his own, so hes not driving it as hard. he got out and said theres more left........

I'm sure there is a lot more left. BUT
IRL thats whats not out there. Everyone that buys this car is not a RAnger They will probably not get it to its potential.

I was going to say that 130mph isn't all that impressive, but it might have no traction to 50mph (or whatever), keeping the car from being wide open all 1320 feet. 130mph with 3400lbs is only about 575 flywheel HP being used.
I'm sure one will go 135mph one of these days...

i disagree with you, good sir the z06 traps only a few mph slower, with 150hp less?
for the added cost over the z06, the zr1 (at the drag strip) is very underwhelming imho. z06 ftw. zr1 ftl.
