LS7 + mild cam = sounds only a gearhead understands
Cam is a 231/247, 113 LSA, 0.617/0.624, Kooks LT, FAST LSXR intake, Corsa cat back, Halltech intake 550rwhp.

Those 113LSA cams look like the current trend. Post some track times and let us know what your fuel mileage is like. Sounds fantastic.

Meh, sounds like your typical cam'd out LS based enging to me A.K.A, Mid 80s half ton truck with cherry-bombs.
Its gotta burn peoples asses that a 20+yr old STOCK 5.0 stang, with ORH and dumps making 200hp sound better

I agree, to an extent. I've always been more of a fan of how an LT1 or mustang sound over an LSX engine. There isn't much that beats a cammed LT1's exhaust note.

I've had a '93 5.0 with long tubes, Flowmasters, ORH, intake...it did sound good - no debate there.

Wrong
Different
cam
Not to mention, the f-150/bronco came with single exhaust.
Ill give yall about 20 more posts to bow down and admit that a stock 5.0 stang sounds better than ANY LS based engine.
Dont fight it, it will just hurt more when it does happen.

Got nothing to do with speed, we are talking about sound.
That in mind, my last 2 cars were LS based F-bods, and my current car is a LS1
I havent owned a 5.0 in over 10 years.

yep good opinion, I have a 10 thousand dollar dss 331 sitting right next to my cobra, it made 486 rwhp on 11psi with basically the stock fuel system the motor could easily handle 600+ hp the only reason its on the stand the car went through a tornado...

Mine too, but I ate hot peppers last night
The LS7 has a nice BBC sound.. I *really* like that engine, for obvious reasons.
It's crazy that in only 5 years or so GM tech went from the LS6 which makes 550rwhp with a blower to the LS7 which can make that power with a cam and assorted bolt ons.

It's just that - an opinion. The whole argument about what sounds better is just silly.
I didn't de-value your opinion - I simply stated a fact and that each of them are unique.

dude, you're way overhyping the difference between the two
my friend had a 92 GMC with dumped 40 series' and a H pipe,it sounded exactly like every other foxbody with the same set up
in high school two of my friends had '87 trucks one a f150 the other a sierra.both had short glasspacks with no crossover, they sounded exactly the same too
you can say the gen-III's sound different but you can't make the argument with the gen-I's

Oh I get it, you're drunk. That's why you're such a fucking moron on this board.
Everytime someone mentions an LSX you chime in about how a stock 5.0 with mufflers sounds 100x better and you nutswing the firing order. Well guess what? No one gives a fuck about your shitty opinion about the sound of a 200 horsepower 5.0 motor.
You'd fit in much better over on http://www.faggotstock5.0swithmuffle...iringorder.com
