Ran the car with the new suspension installed.. video..
After winning in Costa Mesa Nick Licata wanted another shot at me. To counter I spent a few grand upgrading my front suspension and actually bothering to get a real alignment.. lol
So here's the outcome.. Licata vs. Rupp
And there's a suprise ending ...
VIDEO - new link
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/C...ors_645084.htm
Later that day I ran a 29.8 in Penny... only four people that day got into the 29s and three of them were driving my car. lol

Here's all the new front parts installed...
That car steers great now.. I'm very happy with it. When for a crusie through the mountains and it was one big smile the whole way.

Here's Mary Pozzi running a 29.3x fastest time of the day by far.
The best I could manage was a 29.8

It amazes me how beautiful that frame is.
I can't wait to get our '68 Chevelle to where we can play with her like that.

So why is it that others can go faster, less afraid of blowing into one of those concrete barriers? Love your car.

Yea.. maybe 40.. but it's relative to how tight a course it.. after all, it's just a car show autocross.. they don't want anyone getting hurt.

Well, lets see.. Mary is an 11 time National autocross champion and Nick use to be our test car driver for years.
So I was the third fastest driver at the event.. I can live with that

so you just leave it in first or do you have to go to second to keep it from blowing the tires off the whole way around?

Came up with a new use for the GoPro camera.. sticking it under the car. lol
In the first vid it's pointed more at the sway bar, in the second half it's more at the watts and shock.
This was done at the Costa Mesa Goodguys show. I want to try it with the wide angle next time. Click on the HD button for a better image.
Would also be cool on the front suspension, but that will be more challenging.
