I just installed my LS2,harness,ECU into Nissan patrol. The engine came with original harness attached.I need the Pinout for this ECU and eliminate unnecessary wires from the harness.
In that case ill try document whatever i end up doing and put something together.
Do you have any information on which loom / looms i need from Holden so that i am able to hook up the electronic throttle (potentiometer) and the OBD11 connection?
I'm doing an engine swap on a e36 318is. So far ive got the engine and transmission mounted. I am at the point where i really need to work out what is going on with the wiring so i can gather any more parts i may need and chop up the one i have.
I have a e38 ECU - SERV. NO 12603892 and the loom you can see in the pictures attached - now the loom is from an automatic car - can this be modified to work with the manual i am using?
From looking at the ECU pin out above it looks like i defiantly need a harness which plus into the J1 port on the ECU as the Power/Ignition MAF, A/C, Thermo Fams and much more all run off that harness.
IS anyone able to supply me with some harnes diagrams so that i am able to identify the plugs.
Im having a hard time understanding how the X1 loom pictured above has anything to do with the functions listed in the Module Connector End View diagram.
For example it lists such things as the Heated Oxy Sensors, IAT Sensor, MAF Sensor.
But no where in the Body Front Wiring Diagram are any of these connectors listed. UNLESS they are all withing the (3) Engine and Transmission Wiring Harness Conector X102. Is this the case?
HSV-GTS-300- do you also have a similar document available detailing the end views / pin outs and cable colors for the engine / transmission harness plugs?
Be careful where you lift the drawings from, USA trucks won't necessarily be the same as Holden cars.
Ignition Controls-Sensors jpg you posted is not to suit any engines Holden have ever used.
Do you know if there is anything more to do to the loom than simply wiring it up as described in the above wiring diagrams?
I know because I am running a manual trans i will need to feed the VSS signal to pins 71 and 72 and then enable the input using the custom tune.
The above diagrams show how everything mates in a VE Holden.
You'll have head scratching to do everytime a Holden harness goes anywhere near a BMW or other non-GM component.
