2006 AUTO SHIFTER

Does anyone have the pin outs for the wiring harness that plugs into the shifter? Is the backup switch located in the shifter and where is the neutral safety switch located?

Re: Pinouts.
The GM tech info for the 2006 GTO isn't laid out in a logical manner.
If you can better describe the connector (shape, number of wires, colour) then I may be able to find it.

Took pics but have not been able to get them on here. 6 pin white connector at bottom left of shifter. Colored wires are, 3 black wires in one pin, 2 single red pins, 1 green pin, 3 grey wires in one pin, 2 tan wires in one pin. One red and one black go to a coil winding in front part of shifter. Traction control button has a red, brown , tan, and black wire from this connector(this t/c not needed for my application).
A brown and grey wire go to gear indicator and a black and green wire go to a micro switch on left side of shifter. I am looking for a neutral safety switch and back up light switch plus indicator wiring.

Yeah I've looked thru the wiring info now about 4 times and it's not showing where it should be. I've seen drawings of the shifter assembly which show the location and general outline of the connector but no pin-outs found.
The info is a serious mess.

If you use a hosting service like photobucket or imageshack, host the pics and then post the links here. From the face shape and location of pins I still might be able to find something...it's a time consuming way of searching thru every connector by sight.

Example:

Closest thing I can find is C301 for 2005/2006 GTO.
Info was mislabelled and in the wrong section of Service Manual.

Using this shifter in a console in a 57 chevy with 700r4. Looks like i need indicator lamp only. Will have to find another solution for neutral safety & backup light switch. Thanks for your perseverience on this matter. Have no idea how you found this info but thanks again!

I don't see it straight off, but they all do similar pigtails so contact them and ask. Sending them a pic will help.
