Need E40 J1 connector...

Hello

I'm installing a GTO 2005 engine on a Jeep TJ, I have partial factory wiring harness with ECU, gas pedal and mass air flow. In my wiring I have only the J2 and J3 ECU plugs but not the J1 with his wire...

What can I do for turn on my engine?

Tanks

Hi there,

J1 is also sometimes refered to as C1

Click on "Connector Pigtails"

Great information! Tanks

Do you think I can run my engine with the only parts I have? Obviously I'll buy the connector but I don't have the BCM...

You need the C1 and all its wires connected into your harness, plus you'll need the Vehicle Anti Theft turned off and a tune added into ECU.
You'll probably want an OBD2 port added to the harness.
There will be parts of your GTO harness which just wont have anywhere to plug into your Jeep.

Seriously I'd consider boxing up the ECU & harness and sending it to a professional to get everything done for you and to suit your Jeep.
(One major reason here is your location.....parts and support for this equipment will be scarce there where you are.)

Look here

Click on LS-24x
Scroll right to the bottom.....Reworked factory harnesses.

i got my c1 plug from efi connection, as well as my gas pedal plug. shipped quick.

the GTO harness isn't too difficult to mod yourself. the c1/j1 is almost all in car/cab stuff and the main wiring harness that goes on the motor really only needs to get power connected for the injectors and coils at a plug near the TB.
