Which is better, a older cars with low miles or

A newer car with more miles?? Like for example a 2006 Vette with 41K miles or a 2008 Vette with 73K miles in the same price range?? It doesn't have to be a vette but which is better to buy a newer car with more miles or a older car with less miles, thanks!!

In general, I'd take the lower mile car. Depends on exactly what your looking for though

What kind of car is it? Some newer models have more options than older ones, are you asking price wise if a 2001 SS with 100K miles for $7,000 or a 99 SS with 75K miles for $7,000, is that what your asking because I confused myself?

Yeah sorry to confuse you, I was looking at a 2005 and 2006 GT0 about $500 in price differences.. The 2006 has 83K miles and the 2005 has 51K miles both M6s, same wheels, pretty much identical..

Low miles trumps a newer car.

    As long it's not like a 1991 Z-28 with 33,000 miles over a 2010 SS with 62,000 miles.!.!.

If you are looking at two cars that may be different year models but are really identical other than miles I would go for the one with less miles.

To me, the more gadgets they put on the new cars, the more stuff that will break and cost a butt load of cash to fix.

I was in the same position with a Tahoe. Been toying with the idea I'd getting a truck for months.

Found a well optioned 07 that I could get for 24,900 with 50k. Everything else was a lot more money or had at least 90k on it. What kept me from pulling the trigger was the age of the vehicle. Didn't want to be upside down in 3 years if I decided to ditch it.

If I was keeping it longer the year wouldn't bother me as kuch

It also depends on how the older vehicle has been stored

    Outside? forget it
