Tuned the Camaro on E85 (dyno sheet)

Slowly getting it to where I want it. Needs a larger turbo now and a TH400 and I think I will be satisfied, for now.

Not with this T56 in it. Once I put the TH400 in it, pretty easily.

Yeah I was a little perturbed about it but they said there coils are so old now they aren't giving enough spark to make that much power. I have to replace those next if I want to turn the boost up over 20 pounds.

Honestly I think I am going to put a th400 in it and see if it goes 8s like it sits, I don't see why it wouldn't but who knows with this kind of stuff.

I stuck them in the stock spot but they reflected horribly so I pulled them back out and stuck them in my Tahoe.

Probably be a good race for a stock demon once you get the TH400 in it.

Nah. With the th400 in it it should go 8s as it sits, magazines were having troubles getting the Demon to go below mid 10s and one couldn't get it out of the 11s.

I know this, that was one of the reasons I wanted to go tot a larger turbo so I could make up that difference.

I have thought long and hard about this situation and being able to get some decent times out of it is one of the things I want to do with it.

I'm sure you know that you'll probably need suspension and chassis tuning if you really want to run below a mid-high 9. A TH400 with a transbrake isn't a miracle cure. Personally, I would run something like a Century built 2004R so that you keep overdrive. Going from highway racing love to a non-overdrive transmission might give you twitches.

Yeah the suspension stuff is already done so I don't need any of that. I was looking at doing the th400 with a gear vendors over drive.

Yeah I haven't really looked too deep into yet but when I do go auto it will be a 400 and depending on price that might be all I do. I really don't drive it that much on the highway so OD might not be that big of deal.

Right now it has a 3.42 and 26 inch tire but when I go to the 400 I'll go to a 28 inch tire and maybe even drop the gear down some.

I might rather a tank built 4L80 now, but he'll need tunnel work, right?

So that car really is stuck in between worlds for you huh? Currently only good for highway rolls, but you don't drive on the highway.

Stop spending money on power mods and do that transmission swap!

Lol, pretty much right now yes. That is the next thing on the agenda, I plan on having it done this winter so I can run it when the track opens back up.

Id just rather have the stronger 4L for probably less money than the 200, its also going to have arguably better gear ratios for his power levels

STD, or standard correction, represents one of the oldest correction factors used by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). STD is also known as J607 and it uses standard conditions of 60-degrees F, 29.92inHg and 0-percent humidity.

Dual Walboro 450 intank pumps, ID1700 injectors, Fast Fuel Rails, Fore Precision Fuel Pressure Regulator. I am also running meth injection which helps some. Thanks!

Very nice. Nice to see the dual 450's supporting that kind of power, i have the same pumps in my car. I went back and looked for a build thread on your car and saw the pics of the welds on it, looks sick!

Thanks I appreciate it. It's been slowly coming together over the last couple of years. Next thing is to get the T56 out and put a th400 in and run some good times at the track with it.
