I wish I still had an F body. At one point there were two of them sitting in my driveway. I miss going to these car shows. There aren't enough GTO shows around here.

I'm planning on going, it's about a 10.5 hour trip for me. I went to last years meet in Detroit and stayed a few days after to cruise in the Woodward Ave. cruise.
I'm sure there will be a good size group traveling out there from the northeast.

    Guys and gals,

Please be assured that we WILL make accomodations for those who have sold their Camaros and Firebirds (or have never owned one, but are seriously looking).

We realize that many have had to make the hard decision to replace their Camaros and Firebirds since the "hiatus" began.

This is going to be truly a gathering of friends and enthusiasts alike....

We hope to have host hotel and many other details ASAP.....(we just got the green light, so bear with us)

    STAY TUNED!!!!

    Layout at INDY.

Cars are parked at turn 4 of the track. Also note, the person turned this picture 90 degrees. Turn 4 is the NW area of IMS, this picture shows it as SW. The front straight at IMS runs north to South.

    So,

    .................East

    North.................................South

    .................West

Main Hotel, Holiday INN, is 9 miles (as the crow flies) from IMS. It will take 20 minutes travel. I understand there is a shuttle that can be used but I have NO idea how long it takes or what time schedule it uses for the travel to and from IMS.

    UPDATE

This is a gathering so show status of the cars is not needed.

All cars will be required to leave the IMS at dark so no need to worry about a shuttle ride as you'll have your car to make the trips back to the hotel.

    I guess that covers it.

$40 advance fee, $50 after a certain date.

Free shirt, additional shirts $10 each

    Banquet is $25 per person.

Look the rest of the information up for yourselves!

General Motors, Chevrolet Division and the Central Indiana Camaro Club would like to announce an exciting new development in the Camaro world. We have now been authorized to release information that the new production Camaros will be in attendance and unveiled at the Indy 08, Back at the Brickyard Event in September. The car will be unveiled at the event and many different models/engine combos will be available for the general public to review. Expect to see many different color combinations as well.

The 'Back at the Brickyard' Event will be happening in Indianapolis Indiana from September 19-21, 2008 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hundreds of Camaros, Firebirds, and Pace Car owners will be in attendance to celebrate the unveiling and enjoy this historic event. GM Dignitaries will be in attendance as well to discuss the design, engineering, marketing, and accessories for this new model of Camaro. Vendors will also be on hand displaying their products.

For more information on this event, please visit

    http://www.indycamaro.com/Indy08

We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
