Yes you can run it on a stock GTO....most have been able to run 100-150 with no issues but some cars run into fuel pump issues on the 150 shot.

I helped a GTO guy a bit with tuning, we pulled a couple degrees timing, and changed some shift points and he was running upper 11's. Not sure what his final shot size was, he was a custom direct port though, with a fuel pump (every thing else was stock).

Also, you might want to change your fuel filter if you can't remember the last time you did it.

For a "first mod", i'd get a big stall for it before you go with nitrous.

Answer - yes. A simple little wet kit will suit your needs just fine.

You may want to run NGK TR6 plugs as someone suggested
You could pull a tad of timing as Beer says
I suggest you add a purge and a bottle heater to your kit and some drag radials for your rear tires. Just set reasonabe speed and time goals and have a blast.

Hello I have a 2005 gto and I added the TNT nitrous with a window swith and set it to ignite at 3000 rpm I tuned it to were it drops 2 degrees when the nitrous is ignited also adding 109 racing fuel 3gallons and 3 gallons of supreme gas for better performance.
