I went to the local Pep Boys around here and saw a nice Firebird parked infront of it with the t-tops off. As I park my car I walk up to it and check it out(as I do with all other F-Bodys), and notice its a Trans Am, but without the rear spoiler. Then I look into it further and notice the Ta front bumper and TA side and rear badges on the car. I look inside and see an automatic and then what do I discover.......its a V6(110mph gauge and the sound of it pulling away as I find out later). Ahhhh then this kid around my age walks out and I say nice Firebird and he's like thanks, but its a Trans Am. :sillyme: Kids my age, what is this world coming to. Ok end rant......

friend has a 97 v6 camaro w/ a weird lookin SS hood, he has SS badging on it, and people buy it, its funny. it is a beautiful car but it drives me nuts when people mis represent there cars!!! if its a RS keep the RS on it, Rally doesnt start with a S!!if its a Z its a Z you get my point. JMO

I saw a 94' green z28 for sale for $2500. I pulled over and started jotting the number down when I saw a piece of paper in the window that said "not a real z28, they're just stickers."

There is nothing wrong with V6 with V8 apperance. My girlfriends got a 96 Firebird with both TA bumpers and side skirts. BUT It has FIREBIRD clearly badged on the door, and most importantly she knows its a v6.

I agree completely considering I have an SS hood, once you badge it thats when it becomes rediculous.

I took some pictures but they came out really blury, It was a late model Tacoma with bmw emblems on the front and rear... but they didnt even take off the 'yota ones... guys was really young too

not that it matters cause the pic is so horrible... but believe it or not. That little blue emblem underneath the tailgate latch, is an official BMW emblem

i really hope he didnt buy it thinking it was a trans am, maybe a special edition one they made as a v6. Doesnt matter anyway though, when a ricer beats a v6 they think they beat a v8 even if it says z28 or trans am

As far as the Firebird Formula thing...sometimes the exhaust is a dead give away, most people don't go the trouble of putting dual tips in the back.

The SS badging on a V6 won't fly in my book, have some respect.

On a side note, I went to college in Kansas and this guy had the WS6 badging on the back of his toyota celica. He was getting into his car and I stopped and told him straight up "Dude, take that off, the sticker won't make your car go faster." Damn posers.

I use to own a WS6 before I had to give it up, 2001 T-tops the whole nine...If I had the car at that time, I would have shown him what a real WS6 can do....:spank:
