Have an idea for those of you on the east coast. I need a set of headers for my truck conversion as I'm sure alot of you would like to have. The Sanderson headers just won't work for me or anybody else that is looking to make real power with the LS1. You really need a set of 1 3/4" long tubes on a heads and cam motor to really open it up. If we get a few of us together maybe we can convince Kooks or Stainless Works (real good companies on the eastern side of the country) to get a few of us in and give us a discount on a set of headers. I have talked to these guys and they want about $2k because they want to treat it like a 1 off thing because they don't think the LS1/s10 swap is a worthwhile thing to put headers out for. Please get back to me if you want this to happen. I will have to do this eithor way but if we can get 2-3 of us to go in and have a set of headers fabricated on a few different trucks with a few different sets of mounts then I think they will be more receptive on the idea to see what does and doesn't work.
