it would be exactly 600, but atleast around 550 for sure, which is still a hell of alot....those sumitomos i was speaking of above, i can get mounted and everything for 306....i just wanna know if anyone has these, or knows anything about them, and if they will do me fairly well out back on my ws6.....

Depends what you use them for. If budget is the primary criteria, they are a great buy, and not a terrible tire, relatively speaking. If you're looking for $300 performance for $150, it ain't gonna happen. I have these tires on my Z28 right now, and while they scream for mercy under part throttle (not many street tires won't with 350+rwhp), they ride nice, are quiet and are wearing well. I don't race with these tires, and they'll likely rot off the wheel before I wear them down, so for me, they were the wise buy.

Saying they suck, with a basis of comparison, is kind of unfair.

well what would be you all's alternative for me? something REASONABLY low priced....price is obviously a concern, but also i was good traction, dry as well as wet.....just dont want my wallet to take too hard of a hit :(

Buy cheap buy twice. Save the pennies for a good set of tires.

Nitto drag radials are always an option. If you so not drive your car that hard, you could get about 12-15l out of them. Wet traction is OK but remember, they are a drag radial. All my friends that are running them are fine in the rain because they are all good drivers and know the f-body's behavior when it gets wet. These would improve your traction 10 fold and they would only be around 350 shipped:thumbup:

They do tend to pick up a lot of crap off of the street. I ran Nitto DR's for a little while on the street, and their dry traction is great, but the wet roads made them a handful if you're not paying attention.

Does Kuhmo make a 315/35ZR17 tire? :dunno:

buy expensive buy twice  Nitto's, perfect example....they wear out afte a 10k life

The Sumitomo's are good tires, i have them on my 350+rwhp LT1, granted they arent the best hooking tire at the track, but they are reasonably priced, ride well, and keep the rearend under the car pretty well.

If budget is your main concern, get them, you wont be disappointed.
