Dealership parts guy is telling me that GM normally leaks the part numbers about 6 months ahead of availibilty. Then it's a 6 week wait from that point.

He says they've done this with most new GM performance parts for the last 15 years he's worked at the dealership.

He can't give me a price either.

Scoggins-Dickey has the LS2 bare aluminum block listed for $1,195.00. A little higher than I expected it to be, but thats still a great price if you consider the price of an LS1 block resleeved to 4.000".
