To answer your question, how complete of a conversion do you want to do?

Off the top of my head, to make it look like a TA, you'll need the front facia and lights (DRL's and foglights), the rear deck lid w/ spoiler, rear bumper cover, rear tail lights with the Trans Am emblem, and TA emblems for door panels.

For the interior, you'll need the leather covered seats.

There are some minor differences in the motor and exhaust setups between a 98 Formula and a 01-02 TA, but the differences probably aren't worth investing in, as the power gain will be minimal. The only one you may want to consider is the 01+ intake manifold with the EGR delete.
