is there any do it yourself ways to rol the fenders (minus the wooden baseball bat and the tool you rent for several hundred dollars, my corvet rims look good on the SS, but the drivers side rubs when i launch, I actualy put the stock springs back on and it sets up tall in the back, but they still rub, i think its because if the 285 tires. Any one got some good " How to" write ups?

heres what i did:
Get a mallet (yes a mallet, never thought i'd take a hammer to my car but i did)
I wrapped it in a towl so it wouldn't scratch/chip the paint.
then take off the wheel thats rubbing, jack up the car if needed and start hammering a way until you've rolled it enough.
:gulp: its one of the worst feelings when u start.... but once u get it shaped its not bad.

I didn't roll mine due to fear of paint chipping.
Instead I shaved the entire lip off with a wheel grinder.
It came out friggin awesome.
You just have to take your time and shave in one sweep at a time.
It took me about 3 hours to get them shaved completely.
No rubbing issues whatsoever!
Oh, BTW I cut the jouncy bump stops in half too but probably didn't need to.
I probably didn't need to shave the fender lip either but figured what the hell.
