it's not very fast, and its HUGE. mine broke after about 30 uses.
use a good, high quality foam pad and you'll be fine. NO WOOL. NO TERRY CLOTH.

ok cool, thanks
It is just a run of the mill cheapy orbital buffer, you have to find elastic bonnetts to fit the head. Find a foam one for best use. The better orbitals like the Porter Cable either model 7424 or 7336 (I have the 7336) have adjustable head speed and a detachable head unit which the cheapy buffers do not. I also have a cheapy 10 inch Wen buffer that now never gets used now that I have the Porter Cable, 109.00 from Lowes. Foam pads and quick change velcro backer plate from www.topoftheline.com

Well, it isn't perfect, but damn close enough for me! There's just so much support for it out there...AND it does a really good job.

yeah, Like everyone says, get a Porter cable. It is almost impossible to fuck up your car, and it does a damn good job.
