Wanted to share my HP TQ gain with Edit.

For all of those that have not had a good tune yet here is some info I wanted to share......I have a 02 Z with mods listed in sig, back in early January I added some Macs and was running very rich. I drove the car a few weeks with it stinkin' like crazy.

I got sick enough of it and had the car re-tuned for the Mac's (leaner) and pick up 11 hp and 23 tq. All he did was bump the A/F from 12.4 to 12.9 or so at WOT. I could not believe that it picked up that much. Just goes to show how these car react to perfect A/F ratio. :worship: EDIT

Amen brother! I watched a guy with a supercharger eek out another 40 HP by leaning it up with a wideband while his factory O2s did not hardly move:D

ls1 edit is a must, specially on cammed cars. look at my dyno graph. i picked up 17rwhp and 24 rwtq going from 12.0 a/f to 12.3. the tuner didnt want to go too much more lean cause the ltft numbers were acting wierd.

2000 Tran Zam, you outta set that A/F about 12.8 once things get worked out. You'll pick up a ton more, if you have the HOSE hooked up then leave it.

ya, its all N/A right now. how much more power do you think is left in there?

2000 Tran Zam- Hard to tell how much is left...but I would say that if you came up to 12.9-13.0 then you might get another 15 or so from it. Im sure the Tq would come up as well. Only way to know is to get on the dyno and find out.
