Here is the raw log (http://www.geoffrion.org/car/0113.LOG) file from about a 25 mile drive home. Here is the same log file thrown into a anaylsis spreadsheet (http://www.geoffrion.org/car/1-13.xls) .
Does anyone see anything bad here and is this good enough to begin tuning with LS1Edit for WOT, or should I try to get the LTFT a bit closer to 0?
Any and all comments are welcome! If need be I can also pull data from ls1edit for suggestions on what to change.
Forgot to add what I've got. MMS IIx heads with a MMS 224 cam. SLP LT's into ORP's into wide open Borla. Lightly ported Holley intake. Moser 12 bolt with 4.56 gears (which explains why my cruising RPMS are on the high side) bunch of suspension work also.

Personally I've had good luck with LTFT's up to 10%. I have yet to tamper with partial throttle to get good HP and track times.
BUT... I've run pretty much stock engine configs with just intake and exhaust mods.
What I've found to be the most important is to beat on the car before starting to tune WOT tables. How successful is tuning a stock engine this way? I went from 358 to 371hp with tuning alone on a Z06, without adjusting partial throttle cells.

The spread sheet "page can't be found" but I can get your log file okay and most or all of the LTFTs look to be - anyway so you should be good to go .....
McRat perhaps you have busted the theory that the trims need to be in the - to get your best HP..... have you ever lowered the LTFTs just to see if there is anymore power to be had
When I first picked up EDIT I went right after WOT and seen gains but then I made the mistake of looking at the LTFT and by the time I was done I had to go back and redo the WOT anyway .. perhaps I just should have ignored the LTFTs ;)

Link is fixed now. So as soon as I get some tires that can handle WOT runs I'll start on the WOT tuning :D

One major factor is that I've only tuned "stock" engine configs. I play with the timing, Power Enrichment Table, fans, limiter. That works for me.
By "beating" on the car prior to dyno'g and adjusting the table, I stabilize the LTFT's, ie learning to the same settings.
But with H/C, Headers, Etc, you might be so far out on the LTFT's that you will need to adjust.

Good points.... as soon as you bolt up a pair of headers on an LS1 in most cases you are already in trouble with your A/F :)

While I was tuning Eboggs twin turbo setup :name drop:, we found that if the fuel trims were positive (adding fuel) at part throttle, we could not get a good handle on the WOT fueling. If the fuel trims were neg (pulling out fuel), we had great control over fueling.
We found out that if the PCM saw a lean condition (positive fuel trims), it added extra fuel at WOT to "protect the engine". If the PCM saw a rich condition at part throttle (neg trims), the PCM went straight off of the enrichment tables for fueling.
If the PCM see's +5 fuel trims, it is going to add 5% more fuel at WOT over what ever you set the enrichment tables for.
I shoot for -2 to -5% fuel trims at part throttle before tuning WOT.

Was COT (Catyalitic OverTemp) a factor?
