I love mine too...have it in my center vent, and hasn't let me down yet. Got a chance to use it this morning actually :D It really helps being able to watch the road instead of the tach...for that alone, it was worth it.

Just do a search on yahoo or something for Harlan engineering...mine took two weeks to get to me. I thought that was very reasonable...

I had mine in the center AC vent but it was hard to see in the daytime, so I moved it in between the tach and speedo.:D

it will be the best 50.00 you ever spent. unfortunately, yes, they do take a while to get sometimes. I got mine locally used, so I didnt have to wait.

good luck

Adrenaline sometimes throws off your timing.:p

A shiftlight is just a friendly reminder.;)

exactly. and I realize this is the internet, and everyone here is an NHRA certified pro, but I have trouble watching the tac, and the track all at the same time.

harlan had posted on another board, he was cought up with orders, and had them in stock.

but they can take a while, but they are the best $50 you will spend.

I ordered mine on a Sunday and had it by Friday, this was about a month ago. It doesn't get much better than that. Haven't installed it yet because of winter. :(

Dude, suck it up and get it in there...it's another toy for you to play with. :D Guess I kinda forgot how cold that area of the country can be

The few "NHRA certified pro"s that don't have automatics use shift lights :p

Looks just like mine...a very good, extremely worthwhile mod in my opinion.

What colors did you guys go for? I'm trying to decide between red and yellow. Which is brighter/easier to see?

I'd go for the red...it is probably the most noticeable color offered. They don't call it "arrest me red" for no reason. I just got a chance to use mine the other day (legally, of course ;) ), and even though the sun was shining, I had no problems seeing it light up for me. It has never failed when I've needed it, whether at the track or doing some spirited driving on the roads around here.

My other question is in comparison between the harlan and the raptor shiftlight. Does anyone have any personal experience with the raptor? Although it's a bit more expensive, it seems pretty good as well. Any thoughts?

I feel your pain. ive been waiting on a 2 step from him for a month now too.

hes got a reputation for taking his sweet time, but the parts are well worth the wait, and are offered at a great price.

hard to beat even if the wait is long and painful.

:(

I went with yellow because green means go and red means STOP so yellow is the only one that made sence to me...

I flipped the vent and re-installed it, over the light. I think it looks better that way.
Mine is the only one I know of like that...
