If I remove the side moldings will it hurt anything underneath like the paint?
No, removing the side moldings will not cause any sort of deformed paint or anything to that nature

But my car is 5 years old, are you sure?
Yes, i'm sure that the 5 year old paint won't look different then the rest of the car

So how do I remove the side moldings?
Just take some fishing line and get it behind the side moldings and pull away from the vehicle. Once you have pulled it away from the vehicle just start using your fingers to get the rest off.

How do I remove the residue left over from the moldings?
Take your thumb or finger and just rub it like trying to gather rubber cement. You may want to get some goo gone to aid you. Afterwards wash your car and apply some polish, I recommend Zaino as RUSSH stated :D

To prevent clear corners from having moister or filling up with water you can either:
-Put clear silicone all around the edges (didn't quite work to well for me)
-Drill small holes at the very bottom of the clear corners to allow the water to drain.

What kind of paint should I use to paint my calipers?
-Any type of high temp paint should work fine. Just make sure you clean and prep the surface well.

synthetic sealant.

by definition, polish = contains abrasives.

as posted above by sandman - there is more info in the detailing section. i don't think you really need that in here.

how do i take off my non hurst shifter? you need to cut off the leather wrapping with wire cutters or sharp scissors, and after its cut off just twist off.
It will not come off with channel locks as i tried this.
