I remember there was a website or maybe someone you could email with your vin # and get your build #. I did this a while back but I forgot the # and was just curious.
Also where can I go for a break down of all the NBM SS produced in 2001??
Thanks

Is there any way to find the build numbers anymore?
I just got a (new to me- well I actually got it for the wifey) 2002 NBM SS A4 and I am curious what the build number is??? SLP used to do it on the forums but they (the forums on SLPeng.com) no longer exist...

This morning I went to www.slpeng.com which forwarded me to www.slponline.com used the number they have in the top right hand corner and talked to some chick...cant remember her name. Gave her the last 8 or so digits of the Vin and on the spot she told me the build number and all the options it came with

also if you join the Super Sport Owner's Association you'll get a letter of authentication sighed by GM and SLP. From my understanding it has the build number on it as well

www.chirpthird.com was the address that was given to me. They have a form that you can print out and mail to them (no online registration yet)

I emailed SLP and got my build number as well. Email them your VIN number and they get back with you pretty quickly.

SLP built SS's for GM, not Z28's so they cannot supply your build number.

I got my build number, is there a way for me to get what all options it came with, like a list and such?

There is a 35th SS LE forum and there are Moderators you can PM and they will find you LE# and SLP# if any.

Interesting since they only made 11,191 of them. What where the extra 13 cars?
