When PCMforless tunes your computer do he elimanate the MAF? I am having serious problems with his tuning....The Air/Fuel is about 16.0 all the way through the band...my timing is set at like 41* advance timing.....and the MAF isn't working or show to be working anyways.....I put another one off of a ls1 on there that did work and it still didn't show to work. Thanks for all of your help

Dayem! That is going to kill your engine. That is screwed up. 16 is bad and that's a dab too much advance if it is at WOT.
What the heck did he do? Get that corrected immediately.

Just outta curiosity.. you say the MAF's not working... if you unplug the MAF while the car's running does it die or keep running?
Any SES lights (P0102 or such?)
Have you checked the Engine Sensor Fuse (20 amp mini fuse under hoode in the front most fuse box, middle section) to see if it's blown?
and that 41* of timing was part throttle or WOT? if part throttle prolly fine... especially in idle
But if that was at WOT there's definetly some big time issues...
If you're getting 41* of timing advance at WOT and running 16.0:1 (uber lean) I'm surprised you haven't blasted a hole in a piston yet... or at the very very least destroyed the elctrode on a few spark plugs...
But sounds like these numbers are at part throttle...
Are you getting any KR?
I'd start w/the engine sensor fuse since you say the MAF's not working... and clarify if those values were WOT or part throttle/idle
If it ends up being a blown engine sensor fuse... and it keeps blowing check the O2s (heaters and MAF are on the same circuit)
don't blame the tuning yet.
What mods do you have to your car?
pcm for less did a great job on the cars i know of for a mail order tune. Most likely you have something causing that kind of messed up air fuel, i could see a close tune with mailorder, but 16:1... that is not something i would expect from them, they've gotten very close on other friends cars

Well the 41* timing was at WOT.....The guys at LGMotorsports said that it shouldn't be that high should be around 35*....I haven't checked the fuse but I will check it today....As for the SES light....It has always been on since i bought the car...It has no cats, or airpump.....I haven't checked it in a while so i think i will check it again also.....Mods are Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Hooker LT,Power Pulley,Powerstat,XE 236/242,Comp Cam R Lifters, GM Guideplates, Comp Cam 7/16 non-self Align. 1.6 Rocker Arms, All ARP bolts, Comp Cam hardened pushrods, Ported Heads(flow 275@550) 2.00I 1.56E valves, Impala Head Gaskets, Comp Cam valve springs,4.10 gears, TA girdle, Airfoil,Borla Exhaust, Mufflex Y-pipe, Moroso Cold Air, Mac Springs,ZR1 17 X 11s,Nitto DR's, Hurst Short Shifter, custom tuning by PCMFORLESS, Taylor wires, Walbro 255lph, 30# injectors, Aeromotive AFPR, 52mm TB....might have left something out but can't remember....It showed to have 1k plus knock count.....And my passenger side o2 sensor wasn't reading anything......I just have a lot of little stuff to fix...The car was broke for about 8 months and I just now got it running again

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Forget my contribution to this thread. I can't spell LT1. My bad, All my learning on the dyno has an "S" in it. I'll read now.
The ID should have given me a hint but a SIG would have been better. :D

yea - you might want to edit your post so people know that.... most guys here have ls1 engines.....

I don't think that it being a LT1 still is that far off than a LS1....I mean the MAF is basically the same right?

There is a forum that deals with LT1s. Would you like me to move this thread into that forum?

ok found the fuse that you was talking about....and yes it was blown put a new one in and it will at least idle now......just had enough time to drive the car down the road and back.....on the way back it was mis-firing like a plug was crossed or something but i haven't moved any of them....maybe my headers got one of the wires and melted it...i will check tomorrow and see what is going on.
