View Full Version : why would this car be running so rich?

My buddy just swapped in a CC306. He PnP'd the heads, 30pnd injectors, blah blah blah. It's running rich, so rich it burns your eyes. At first it threw a code for a bad MAF. He replaced it, it was fine forlike 3 minutes, then back to rich again. Anyone have any ideas?

Does he have an AFPR?

Those injectors are huge

Man I'm not sure, I'll have to ask. All I know is they've tried just about everything and can't lean it out.

Needs a tune, but even with a tune mine made your eyes burn if you stood behind it until everything broke in.

yeah def a tune. I wouldn't advise lighting a cig behind my car.

Haha, same goes for his car. He got a program from Brain at PCM4less. Maybe my buddy screwed something up when reprograming the PCM. Who knows. Thanks for the info guys!
