Hey Jimmy! 1992 Formula WS6, bolt on mods only. Last time out she was putting down a 1.8 60 ft. on a 14.10 @ 96 mph. That was with the engine running 200*. These times were also prior to putting the TPIS MiniRam intake on the car. I have a few issues to take care of before I see what the MiniRam and new chip did for it!! :drive:

Dyno'd the car the weekend I bought it and threw down 214/312 bone stock with an exhaust cutout. Took her to the track a week later with the same combo and ran a 14.3 @ 97 mph. Since then the car has developed a nasty ping due to fp drop @ WOT. Im thinking fuel pump. Hopefully I can get her running well again so I can start some real mods....

1992 Z28 L98: 2k stall conv, shift kit and cooler, 3:23 stock rear, crank pulley, cat back, stock manifolds/intake, suspension pieces, DRs and other minor bolt ons.

Best ET: 13.521 on a 1.77 60ft. but trapped at a sad 94 MPH.

It had a 2 year lay off without racing and in that time I ditched the dual cat for a single 3" Catco cat, SLP Loud Mouth exhaust and added a 255lph pump.

Best ET: 13.68 on a 1.77 60ft at 99 MPH.

It needs a full tune up and some tuning. I think it's picking up knock when it shifts into third as it bogs. Also race weight with me included was 3688 lbs.

3.27 gears, best time to date is 13.98 at 100.9mph

i put in new gears and it helped my topend abit but not enough to gain ET i guess... i cant fully use the gearing tho. theres not too much difference in 3.27s versus 2.77's

but update

i have hit 13.88 at 98mph with the new gears and icing the plenum. with i think a 1.94 60 foot.

thats the new best.

actually scratch that.... i finally hooked on my et streets with a longer burnout last night

1.80 60 foot on way to 8.725 at almost 77mph
13.79 at 96.77 mph 1/4 mile! thats my new best

once october comes around, cooler air and new torque arm, and a newer tune/timing, i should pick up some times. hope to go 13.6's at 98
