As far as I know they didn't use a cable TB on any 6.0 cars, maybe they did on trucks I dont know.
You wont get a 58x reluctor GM engine and associated computer (E38,E67) to run with a cable TB.
You can however get any 24x reluctor GM engine and its computer (E40) to work with a cable TB.
The 6.0 LS2 had 24x reluctor in 2005 Corvette, 2005 & 2006
GTO, 2005 & 2006...maybe early 2007 TBSS.
LS6 intake is a straight swap on LS2 (243) heads.

Wait, you're going to have the cam out and oilpan off whatever engine you buy. It's only 3 or 4 hrs extra for a reputable shop to pull the crank out and swap crank reluctor wheels from 58x to 24x
So really it doesn't matter which engine you buy.
The thread below tells you step by step for each reluctor version what needs to be done.

i may have to oilpan and cam out i dont know if im gonna do a cam in it just yet. im gonna be doing all the work so changing something is no problem for me. i live for engine swaps they really dont scare me. just trying to do my homework and get as much info on the motor as i can before i take this project on. thanks for the info
