cleaned/painted my 455

i dont have the before pictures (thank god) it was really really bad so i spent this week and today to slowly start cleaning it, replacing gaskets, cleaning the carburetor, and replacing vacuum tubes, fuel lines, and the fuel pump


anyways, thought i'd show 2 pics of the new paint job :shrug:


i did it blue, because blue was the color for the 455 back in 1970 :dunno:

Actually this is the color the 400 was painted in 1970.Is your car a T/A or a GTO?Because this is from a 1970 T/A.

well this isn't a 400, its a 455 :)


its an olds 98 :wall: i know its huge, but it hauls for its weight :shrug: plus im a college student that just needs to get a mile down the road and back

wont be much of a restoration for this car besides the engine and transmission work, because i plan on getting a 442 down the road and taking the motor with me :cool:

Actually even if its a 455 which I knew its still the wrong color blue.But its your car you can paint it whatever color you want.:)

The engine color I've shown in the picture below is the CORRECT color for an OLDS 455 in 1970.
