I have a 66 chevelle I recently installed a LS 2 out of an 05 GTO no mods other Brp longtube headers and a computer tune from speartech to remove emmisions . The motor is 400 hp stock so maybe pushing 425 hp now. I am running a spectra gm 37bf1 fuel tank that produces 85-115 psi / 50-60 gph a gf 822 fuel filter/regulater and 3/8 nylon fuel line. My problem is on higher rpm at wot the motor is running out of fuel. I am on my second tank/pump and second regulater/filter. The motor will maintain 55 psi at idle but drops to 30 at high rpm wot. At a standstill if you rev the engine the psi drops to 50 than back to 55. I am checking the pressure at the fuel rail with a snap on gage. I have searched many different forums and it appears I have everthing correct and this setup should work but its not any help would be appreiciated.
