I just got a passenger side stealth box. I have a jbl 1200.1 amp. I am thinking about getting this (http://www.edesignaudio.com/ep2/10k.htm) or this (http://www.edesignaudio.com/ep2/10o.htm)
I know I'll have to turn the gain down on my amp for these subs. But I am thinking about getting a drivers side stealth to get another sub... probably the K series I linked above. If I do get that second sub and run it off the same amp as the passenger side sub, should the subs be the same. Also should I get the single voice coils or dual?

Let me know if you need more clarification to answer the question. I appreciate the advice.

Those ED's are supposed to be nice...
Have you checked out Phoenix Gold? You can get a Ti10 for $65 brand new on Ebay. 500 RMS... Two of those in a SVC 4 ohm would be a better match for that amp, plus cheaper. Otherwise, that might be too much power for those ED subs. Maybe sell your 1200.1 to me really cheap and buy a 600.1? :D

Oh, and if you going to run two subs off of a mono amp, you'll want to end up with a 2 ohm load. You could do that with two SVC 4 ohms, or with two DVC 2 ohms (wire the DVC's in series, then the two subs in parallel... I think...)

That JBL amp is stable to 1ohm, though they don't claim delivering more power into that load...

so then I should go for 4 ohm dvc??? I think I will go for the K series. I am pretty set on the ED's. I have read reviews on them and people go through so many subs and finally get ED's and say these are the best they've ever had. (probably meaning the best in that price range)
