Would it be possible to swap a Corvette transaxle and IRS into an F-body?
If you want to raise the floor a huge amount for the driveshaft tunnel / tube and raise the heck out of the floor above where the transmission, yeah.
I saw pics a while ago of one being put into a first gen Camaro and raising the floor that much seems like waaaay too much time and effort to move 120lbs 4 feet rearward.
Anything is possible. If you can't do it yourself and have to ask how much... then it's probably not the best mod you could do for your car. :)

WAY too much conversion. Look into a CTS-V caddy unit.

I didn't think it would be that much work. I figured the only real problem would be the fuel tank. Thanks for the info. I'll look into other options to improve handling.

These cars can be set up to handle pretty well as they are...they'll never quite get to the handling of an IRS, but there are a few that come close.
