Thanks
dont take it as criticism man, there are just some knowledgabl folks here is all. If you are going to drop the coin on a big dollar wheel like fikse, especially one where you can specify the build specs you might as well get the most wheel for your money. That goat is puttin down some pretty good power even in stock form, a whole lot more that an 8" wheel is going to be able to handle. I'd just hate to see you spend that kind of cash and then not be happy with your purchase down the road, anything can work to a certain point if you do the offsets right, just do your research and I'm sure you can go with an 18x9 and 18x10 combo, if not wider.

So far from what I've seen the only way a bigger tire will fit is if you roll the fender lip, I don't like the sound of that at all. But yeah if I could fit something bigger in the back I'd go for it

rolling the fenders is no big deal. It doesn't damage anything. I would definately go with something wider than a 8" rim.

Depends on the crouds... I suggest you ask racers. (AutoX and RoadRacers)... not streetracers.
Well, people used to think that 17x11 on an f-body was impossible in the front and there is more room in there than there is in the back... heck, I race my car and never had any rubbing in the front... but in the back, hell yeah I did until I got the whole thing centered properly.
There is even a friend with 335/35-17 on all corners and has no rubbing either...

I'm not saying you can go that wide on a GTO, but you can at least go with a 10" easy.
I would put at least a 9" wide in the front with 275s
Why pay so much $$$ to get skinnies ?

Holy shit, I knew these were expensive, but almost a $1000 a wheel is a little much. Still they are some very nice looking wheels I'd be willing to go $700-800 a wheel.
