Thanks. I think I will stick with these for a while. I went through a few before I finally found the right ones. They aren't easy to shine up like that though.

Looks great! except for the hood:) I think the SS Hood would look much better. The rims help set that car off! I wish I had went with those instead of the Y2K Rims.
ZAngel
02-23-2004, 08:06 PM
The reason I went with the cowl hood is #1. it is different and #2. it has a more aggressive look (especially with the flames).

The turbo is going to take a few months to fit. We are making the whole "kit" by hand.... everything custom. I can't wait to get started on the manifolds. The motor should be done soon (I hope) and the rest will go in after that. Hopefully it won't be too much longer... the wait is killing me :drive:

I am going to go pick up the motor next week. I also found the turbo that I am going to use. It will be ready for pick up next Friday. The turbo is a Turbonetics T-76 Q-Trim, ceramic ball bearing, and .96AR housing. I'll post pictures once we start the fabrication.

Thank you! We have a large group of us that usually meet in Katy on the weekends. There is a place called, "The Pizza Place" on Fry Rd. Check out www.htownracing.com for more details. Maybe I will see you up there one of these nights.
BTW - I have made a few changes to the car since these pictures. I finally got a SS spoiler and had my grill powder coated chrome. I'll get some pictures as soon as I can.
