they are - but they're electronic.

For us cold-weather blokes if they were manual switches they could pre-heat the seats when you use the remote start in the winter time. As it is now you have to manually activate the switch...with a manual switch i could leave the seat on when i park the car for the night and then when i remote-start it in the morning the seats will start heating without my intervention.

a ton of cars here already do this..i cant believe the G8's dont. I was going to mod it myself but i cant find a nice stock-looking switch. My passat had a rotating dial that would work nice but that wouldnt fit.

If you could make a new console plate with a nice dial for the seat heaters (there are 3 levels of heat..low, medium, high + off) that would be awesome. :)

This mod is for people who want the empty upper storage bin in a 2009 to be gone, but don't want to add gauges or a GPS trim package in its place.
These guys also want the curved door lower Calais (full sized storage compartment or smokers pack).

The same mod would work to remove the Atari gauges and open compartments from a 2008 model.

It's all Calais components from the windscreen back to the cupholders.

Vortex Generator is a little Ricerish for most. Some buy it just for looks, but they actually work for keeping the rear window clearer in dusty or rainy conditions. The airflow dissruption pattern over the back window is also supposed to help the car slip thru the air a little easier.

The G8 has a one piece center stack so you need a new lower trim kit 2/3 height to allow you to put that 1/3 height GPS pod on top of. I PM'ed you the pics and details.
