You think that torque arm being just a little bent like that could cause the pinion angle to be off enough to cause the car to vibrate at about 60mph+ ?

I am pretty sure its not my wheels out of balance as I've had 2 sets on in the past week. Also, not sure if some have seem my post about my driveshaft incident, but I borrowed a driveshaft, figured it was just his DS until I got this one and it does the same thing. I feel pretty comfortable that its not the DS, but am having that checked out as well. Sure sucks not being able to go over 60mph. :(

I really can't tell how bent the T.A. is from the picture.

Can you tell if the pinion is pointing down, up, or straight ahead, when the car is at rest? If it's up, I'd say that's definitely your problem. Straight ahead or down, it's really hard to say. A replacement T.A. isn't too much (used) so I would get that swapped out some weekend.

Took me a minute to "see" the bent TA in your pic.

Oh, yeah... that can cause the vibration. My BMR was just a couple degrees off and it vibrated like crazy until I got it dialed in.

Thanks guys, its not just the lip on the top, its the whole thing that buldges out a little. Hopefully that is all the problem is. I'll get that swapped out sometime in hte next few days and see how that turns out
