Anyone have a white C5?

saw one on the road today. don't get me wrong c5's are the teh shit, but in white. i don't like it. never really thought of it until now, but white vettes look like shit to me. any of teh other colors work tho. just wondering if any of u guys got a white vette. why;d u pick that color? not flaming just curious.

I wouldn't turn down a white Vette if I found one right now, I think with tinted windows and chrome wheels they look nice:

i guess it's just not my color. i have a white camaro and had all the blackouts and i liked it. just don't like the color on a c5 i guess.

It is tougher than I thought! There just aren't many 97-99s in my price range up here right now. They seemed to have dried up just as I begun my search. :( I've phoned all the big Chevy dealers in town though, so they've got my name in case one gets traded in on an 04 (there are smokin deals on 04s right now, but they are way out of my price range still)

I've got a large used car dealer that is going to the auction 5 days per week, and he actually found me a car last week but had to return it to the auction because of a problem with the car (most likely it probably was in a major accident-so this dealer probably inspected it and refused it based on that) But they are confident they can find me another, and I gave them a $2000 higher price limit now too. The new Auto Trader comes out today also, so I always have big hopes on Thursdays too! There is also a guy two hours from me who has a used car dealer with lots of C5s, and he told me he's expecting to pick up some more C5s from the US in the next few weeks too and they should be in my price range.

So I expect to have one by mid July at the latest.

i never really like the c5 in white till i saw one in person. then, i almost bought the one i saw. lol. but i opted for the triple black....shoulda got white. SO HARD TO KEEP CLEAN :(:mad:

I have a white vette. There are two different whites. Artic white looks good. But there was also a Speedway white. Speedway white looked like a dirty white to me and not as pure a white as artic. Maybe that is what you saw.
