Is there any downside to running 18" tires all around?

Just got 18's and have no problems with them...only thing I can think of is the bigger wheels and tires will slow you down a little, but not much.

Did you notice any difference in handling?

well i have corvette rims so I have 17's and 18's, But i dont see how it could slow you down any at all. My 17 inch tires are the same height as my 18 inch tires, my 18's just have less side wall, but if you put the 2 side by side, they are the same size. And my new c5 aluminum rims weigh about half as much my my chrome ZR1's did. Butr since the tire height is the same, id see no problem running them on all 4 corners.

They can slow you down because they weigh more. The larger the wheel, the more weight your car has to move around.

275-40-18's every corner. They handle exellent but sometimes I can feel the lack of sidewall over the bumpy roads.
