Is it rue that you can't lower an LT1 with 315's without modifying the wheel wells. If I lower my car, will my traction go to hell? Is there a way to get aroud the traction loss?

Yes and yes. LCA relocation brackets, and resetting your pinion angle with an adjustable torque arm will help things tremendously. Go to Global West's website, where the whole instantaneous center concept is explained.
