inline shifters

anybody ever had any street expieiece with these?i just bought a hurst unit for my super t-10.the shift pattern is "inline",not a H-pattern,you just jam forward an pull back to shift.you have to pull a T-handle to get it in reverse.its gonna rock at the track,but i was wondering how one of these functions for street diving.its not a daily driver by a long shot,but is this something best left on the racetrack?:) :drive:

emm, all the one's i've play'd with, are not street friendly.. they never down shifted very well at all.

But these are race shifters, so a pic., of a linkie would help, us guess for ya';)
