stock delco 12 disc cd changer

i really want a cd changer for my z its the only option my car doesnt have and i was wondering where i could get a stock delco 12 disc cd changer adn how hard it would be to hook up and it there is an exsiting harness under my carpet that i just have to plug it in to?

Yes, it's prewired (see under left rear speaker panel), but seeing that you have a Camaro, it's gunna be hit or miss whether the changer will be compatible with your stock Head Unit:\


For Firebirds, as long as the H/U has a stamped date of April/98 or later, it will work, but the Chebby H/U's rarely work:(


If you know someone with a changer, try plugging it in to your car before buying one....

well i found one out of a 2001 SS for $150 shipped so i think i am gonna go with that or should i hold off and try and find one out of a 99?
